Coolshade Community Musical Workshop is a small youth club for young people aged 10 -24 years that provides positive music led activities for, disadvantaged young people living in Moston and surrounding areas. We specialise in the creative arts through music and drama, developing skills in lyric writing, dance, music production (building and mixing beats), voice coaching and singing. We also offer employability workshops and volunteering opportunities that enable young people to gain work experience and evidence for their CV's.
Our aim is to encourage young people to take charge of their lives and build their own futures and raise aspirations. We provide a safe haven, positive role models and opportunities to try out different music led workshops and projects to gain skills that will enable them to express their individual creativity.
